FAQ: How often should I have my bike serviced?

The recommended service interval for most bikes is 6 months or 1000km - whichever comes first. Bikes that are subject to heavy use, such as cargo bikes, may have a shorter service interval. Other signs your beautiful bike needs some love could be squeaky brakes, clicking or skipping gears, or frequent punctures. 

If you're unsure swing by for an assessment.

In between services, it will be necessary to do minor work - for example, pumping tires, checking your brakes, and cleaning and lubing the chain. If you use your bike lots, we can help you to learn these basics yourself so that you can save the services for the more significant work.
